It's the first week of March. It's almost here. Those tell-tale signs of spring are on the horizon. That up and down weather...55 one day ... 70 the next ... a little rain here and there. I. Can't. Wait. I love spring. It's not too cold, it's not too hot. Almost perfect days of perfect weather. My tulips are blooming in the front yard. And, since I'm a middle school librarian by day, that little ole' week of spring break is only a couple of weeks away. That much needed "break" between January and May we teachers (and students) need to keep going.
With this fabulous weather breeds inspiration. Inspirtation to write write write. I feel renewed, light hearted, stories brewing in my head. The writing comes easier. The sex gets spicier. My hero and heroine get their happily ever after...with a little conflict along the way.
Heck, I even want to exercise. Gasp! And if you knew me AT all....you would know that is soooo not me. Just the thought of an ab crunch, a walk around the corner, or stepping on my treadmill usually comes with a roll of my eyes. But when spring gets here, that all changes. I love being outside in the fresh air, thinking about my stories, my characters and what trouble I can get them into next.
It's amazing what one month, one day, one degree of weather can do for the soul.

It certainly does for me.
