On twitter and in the blogsphere, there’s been a lot of talk about sex lately. Authors have run polls about how women -vs- men use porn. There was another topic of discussion on whether men know when a woman is ‘faking it’.
It’s depressing in a way, that sometimes real life sex doesn’t always meet up to what young girls expect from books and TV.
I think that’s why I love writing sex scenes. (And reading them, lol).
The men in these stories are always attentive. They figure out how to please their woman, and then go about doing so.
Sex in romance and erotica is never disappointing -- hell, women can regularly have multiple orgasms in one sitting.
It makes me wonder if this is one of the things that draws other people to the genre.
Sure, I also enjoy watching people overcome baggage and fall in love.
But the mind-blowing sex rocks just as much.
