A writer buddy was shocked because my upcoming story (releasing on Thursday), Her Dragon Lords, is a ménage.I love reading stories with threesomes, foursomes, etc. and I admire folks that write them, but I've never written one myself.
I still don't think I've written one. What I wrote, with Her Dragon Lords, is the story of a two-headed dragon. The dragon splits into two warriors, warriors with two very different personalities, sharing pieces of the same big dragon heart.
I LOVE two-headed dragons. I'm intrigued with the idea of two different brains sharing one body. How would they decide what to do, or what female to mate with? I figure one brain would have to be dominant, or there would be constant disagreements. Maybe the brains would be specialized. For example, in Her Dragon Lords, one warrior has highly developed communication skills (i.e. he talks the heroine's ears off), and the other has superior decision making abilities (i.e. he takes control of the dragon's body).
Lady Guinevere dreams of frolicking naked with twin warriors. She knows these dreams cannot come true, and she must choose only one warrior to wed. She selects the stoic elder brother, bidding a regret-filled farewell to her other laughing lord.
Except her wedding night isn't the end of their relationship, but a new beginning. The brothers share everything, and Guinevere is about to live out her deepest, darkest fantasies. Will she be woman enough to tame her two wild dragon lords?
