Here's why I'm feeling a little taken for granted. Yesterday two of Tribe Cahill members went off and did the shopping so I wouldn't have to. Brilliant! Except I have to write the list. And then when they got back I had to help put it all away. Now I'm pretty sure that when I do the shopping for them I write the list and put all the goodies away when I get home. ON MY OWN!
Same thing happens with dinner. "Don't worry, Mum, we'll cook dinner tonight so you don't have to." Which is great, don't get me wrong I love that they 'help' but why is that when I cook dinner I do it ALL on my own but when one of them cooks I'm constantly being called into the kitchen to find this or that? And believe me, they're quick to point out they cooked they don't have to clean. Mmm....again, pretty sure I clean when I cook. *sigh*
To top it off I'm on a deadline. So I need to put my ass in my chair and keep it there until this story is finished or my editor at Etopia Press is going to come hunt me down. Maybe this is why I'm suddenly frustrated with the efforts of Tribe Cahill. I know I need to finish this story by November 28 and I'm freaking out that I won't be able to because I'm too busy 'helping' everyone else!
Guess I better get back to work while there's no one in the house.

LOL Sometimes the male sex are clueless. They probably don't even realize they're making more work by "helping".
Maybe you need to leave them to their own devices and work in a cafe where they can't interrupt. Good luck with your deadline.
