Ever wondered what it would be like to put an adult spin on a favorite childhood game? I have. And that one thought led to the series I'm writing with fellow Aussie author Lexxie Couper.
Party Games is a fun flirty series about what happens when you throw caution to the wind and let the child in you free. Splash in a bit of alcohol, some super sexy men and women and you've got yourself one smokin' hawt good time.
Writing the series has been a blast. I must admit, Lexx and I get along brilliantly and even though we're at the end of our original four stories we're talking about more. The idea you can put a twist on a seemingly innocent party game not only intrigues but thrills me. But more than that, I've enjoyed the way each of our stories have intersected and how our characters have flowed seamlessly between books.
It's the first time I've co-written anything and while we each write our stories separately we're always on the phone checking details or asking advice on a scene. It had definitely made my friendship with Lexx stronger and I'm thankful because like any relationship you worry about differing opinions. Good thing it worked out because now you get to reap the rewards with some great stories.
